Disha Patani, who is known for her fitness and stunning physique, has become a role model to young girls in the fitness department. The actor with a huge set of followers on social media, often shares her workout and dance videos flaunting her abs and toned body.
However, the process to acquire a nearly perfect frame is not a cakewalk, and there is a lot of dedication and determination that has gone into making the actor one of the top contenders in the fitness department or even amongst brands.
Revealing her fitness mantra, Disha says: “I don’t skip working out at any cost. Also, what one eats reflects on the body and skin. So, you should avoid junk food and eat healthy.” But there is more to her regimen as the actor also indulges in heavy-duty training, too.
However, it’s not just one form of workout that she sticks to, but a variety of activities that likes to mix up. She stresses on the fact that “one needs to strike a balance between both (diet and workout) as it’s equally important to stay healthy and exercise. “I like to indulge into gymnastics, weight training and mixed martial arts to stay fit. Also, I try to not skip work out and train about six days a week. Though one day in a week is my cheat day and I fulfil my cravings, then,” Disha quips.
Maintaining such a physique is no mean feat, and Disha says the key is “to push oneself out of their comfort zone to achieve their goals and see the results”. However, she adds that “it’s very subjective and people should always only set realistic standards, and not adhere to impractical fads, and follow what also suits their bodies.

On prodding if she ever skips a day of workout or is rather uncompromising with her routine, the actor says, “Like everyone else; I do it too. There are times when I am in a mood to laze around and not hit the gym. During those situations, I am easy on myself and would jog. But usually it’s a hygiene and part of the schedule to exercise, which I don’t give a miss at any cost.”
