Stunned? All we can say is that desi rocks babe! When you can eat a protein bar, then why not a protein laddu to muscle up and shed fat?
Enough talking now let’s get down to business.
½ cup almonds
¼ cup walnuts
¼ cup cashew nuts
½ cup smooth unsweetened peanut butter
½ cup raw organic honey
2 tablespoon grounded flax seeds
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
1 tablespoon vanilla essence
1. Dry roast all the dried fruits (almonds, walnuts, and cashew nuts) in a pan. Let them cool for about half an hour. Once they’re cool enough to touch, put them in a mixer and grind till you get a fine powder.
2. Take a bowl and combine the dried fruit powder with peanut butter, honey, flax seeds, cocoa powder, and vanilla essence. Stir the batter till all the ingredients are properly mixed and you reach the desired consistency.
3 Take small portions of the mix in your hand and roll into balls.
Nuts and seeds give a body to this desi popper and also help you to stay full. Plus it energizes you and is an excellent post-workout option.
Forget artificial supplements and go natural with this laddu
If your trainer pushes you to buy those artificial food or protein supplements then tell him to shove off. Because you now know the natural way to up your protein intake without spending exorbitant amounts on powders that–let’s face it–aren’t exactly very forthcoming when it comes to disclosing ingredients.
